Welding Process – Cladding
BRÜCK® takes on the weld cladding of flanges, rings and other forgings, including all downstream work.
Through the hard-facing overlay with special alloys a variety of different properties can be obtained. It is possible to produce heavy-duty layers that shall not be damaged by extreme surface forces (e.g. mill rollers) nor by hard impact. Cladding can also provide additional protection against abrasive wear.
Through the corrosion resistant cladding, an optimum resistance against chemical corrosion is ensured. Hereby, we also meet the strict hardness requirements of the NACE (National Association of Corrosion Engineers) Standard (e.g. MR0175).
Besides the cladding of outer contours, we have extensive experience in the cladding of bore holes. Pipes and bore holes can be cladded on the inside, with diameters from 50 mm upwards and to 2,000 mm depth (with accessibility from both sides, up to 4,000 mm depth), when using continuous rotators;.
If adequate access is given, BRÜCK® is capable to clad 'Elbows’ and 'Bore-to-Bore' connections.
